Terms of Use
Last updated: 25 October 2026
By using RideWatch SA you agree to these terms. They're here to keep people safe and the information trustworthy.
Stay safe
- Never approach, follow, confront or try to recover a bike yourself. Call police.
- If a crime is happening now, call 000.
- Don't touch or move a suspicious bike. Police may need it for evidence.
What you can post
- Only report a bike as stolen if it's yours (or you're acting for the owner) and it's been reported to police.
- Only post information you believe is true. Say what you saw, not what you assume.
- Talk about bikes, places and times. Don't name or accuse anyone, post photos of faces, number plates of cars, or home addresses.
- Only post photos you took or have the right to use.
- No spam, advertising, abuse, or anything illegal.
Moderation
We can edit, hide or remove anything that breaks these rules, and suspend accounts that keep breaking them. Anyone can report a post. If something about you or your property has been posted, contact us and we'll review it quickly.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you let us show it on RideWatch SA and share it with police or in posts that help find the bike. You can remove your content at any time.
No guarantees
Information here comes from the community. We work to keep it accurate but can't guarantee it. A bike not being listed here doesn't mean it isn't stolen. Always run an official PPSR check before buying. RideWatch SA isn't connected to SA Police or any government agency.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not responsible for loss or damage arising from use of the site or from content posted by others. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia.
